Industry Focused Platforms
CTFA adopts a formal approach to understand the industry’s concerns. These platforms enable CTFA to interface and work with industry to direct and drive industry specific mandates with government and stakeholders both locally and internationally.
Technical Committee
The Technical Committee support the CTFA’s internal policy, regulatory and technical direction, determine when ad hoc sub-committees need to be established and recommends to the CTFA Board positions for the Association to take on policy, regulatory and technical matters. Support is also provided to the Association during stakeholder engagement and lobbying when required.
Participation on the CTFA Technical Committee is based upon personal knowledge, experience and expertise, which assist the committee in a fruitful and positive manner to serve both the CTFA and the South African cosmetic industry optimally.
A member of the Technical Committee agrees to:
- be bound by the Terms of Reference and all associated legal requirements, as prescribed by the CTFA Memorandum of Incorporation.
- represent the interests of the CTFA and the South African Cosmetic Industry at large, and not the interests of the organisation with which full-time employment is normally associated.
- hold all matters discussed within the forum confidential, and no matters disclosed to any third party, without express permission from the CTFA Board.
Subcommittees as required by TCCOM
Ad Hoc subcommittees are established as required by the TCCOM development of positions provide commentary or information for submission to stakeholders or for industry use.
